In 2016 an important project for DEYAP was completed and put into operation. It is an integrated system of telecontrol, allowing the remote control of the network units and of eventual water leaks, worth approximately € 2.000.000, funded by European Funds. The system has 30 control stations and manages all drillings, tanks and pumping stations. There are also 10 stations that measure the pressure and supply of the network and identify possible leaks.
Through this integrated network control and management system, it is possible to identify faults and leaks in a timely manner, to organize maintenance and damage repair operations, and to save on material, human resources and, most importantly, water.
